Our guide will meet you at the port or at your hotel. During this trip you will have the opportunity to learn from our expert guide the most representative part of the Amsterdam. We will take you on a comfortable transport in order to make your trip relaxing as well as interesting. We will visit the old and the modern parts of Amsterdam where among other historical buildings we highlight the Royal Palace designed by the architect Jacob van Campen, that belonged to the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte, Louis I of Holland during the domination of the Napoleonic Empire and recovered by the William VI, Prince of Orange. Currently it is one of the official palaces of King Willem VI and Máxima, the Queen of Orange. The National Monument, located in the center of Dam Square, is a 22-meter-tall obelisk that commemorate the casualties of World War II and subsequent armed conflicts. Also, you will see the Skinny Bridge that goes over the Amstel River located in the city center and that was reconstructed in 1934. The original bridge dates back from 1691 with its 13 arches and it was too narrow so the neighbors called it “Magere Brug” which means "Skinny Bridge". The Albert Cuyp market opened in 1904 and is still the largest and the most popular market in the Netherlands. You can also observe scenic houses along the canals. We will continue our tour with an hour-long boat trip that will let us discover Amsterdam from the perspective of its canals where you will be amazed to see the merchant’s old houses of 17th century and churches crowned with carillons. After this interesting boat ride our driver will pick you up and take you to Zaanse Schans - town well-known for its windmills, traditional houses, workshops and warehouses. In this place you can breathe the essence of how people used to live between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries thanks to the fact that Municipality of Zaanse Schans is well-preserved. In ancient times due to its mills the town was known for production of linseed oil, snuff, mustard, paper and other products that were distributed throughout the Netherlands. Some of these traditional houses have been converted into museums, shops and craft workshops, making this place one of the main tourist attractions in the Netherlands. Optional entry You can also go inside of one of the windmills for 4€ per person. After this fantastic visit we will go to Volendam - a fishing village founded in the 14th century near the Edam port on the coast of the Ijselmeer that used to be called Zuiderzee, where is located the most important lake in the Netherlands. From our transport we will go through this interesting town where we will discover its traditional wooden architecture and its variety of colors. Also, you can admire the beautiful landscapes offered by Dutch countryside with the famous tulips and canals along the road. Furthermore, you will see the work of the Dutch artist and writer Jan Wolker – the Auschwitz Monument, that is commemorating the victims of Auschwitz and located in the Wertheim Park. At the end of our tour we will see the Hollandsche Schouwburg - an old theater with a permanent exhibition dedicated to the persecution of Jews during the World War II, that used to be the place where Nazis gathered Jews to deport them to the concentration camps. Delft is a typical Dutch city that will seem to be in the middle of a fairy tale. In this fantastic place we can highlight the old church known as Oude Kerk of the year 1056 and restored in 1536 after a fire that left devastated, worth noting its splendid bell tower. There is another church, the New Church, built in 1381 according to the plans of Van Bosh, its bell tower is the second highest in the whole country, offering unique panoramical views in the city. Delft Market Square is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands, built in the thirteenth century. The Town Hall is a Renaissance building with its peculiar Gothic tower whose clock dates back to 1536 and is now also the headquarters of the Delft torture museum. The Monastery of Prinsenhof was built in the year 1400 and acquires a revealing role in the history of Holland, since it was the residence of William de Orange, currently houses a museum of paintings and photographs. Oostpoort, located in the eastern part of the city, stands out for its Gothic towers built in the year 1400, an ideal place to get good photographs. In the Center of Veermer you can admire the works of this illustrious artist, a very interesting place not only for art lovers. After this tour of the city of Delft you will have free time before continuing our trip to The Hague, where the Dutch Parliament is also called Binnenhof, inside is the Hall of the Knights. One of the most impressive streets of the Hague is the avenue Lange Voorhout where albengan different government buildings. Another important building in The Hague is the International Peace Palace, seat of the International Court of Justice. The two most important museums of the city are the Mauritshuis and the Gemeentemuseum. We will continue our tour to visit the small town of Madurodam, it is as if I saw Holland in miniature, a beautiful theme park where every detail is taken care of perfectly.
