This is the short panoramic tour via Gdansk and sightseeing of Old Town on foot. The Main Town, situated on the left bank of Motlawa River is particularly rich in architectural monuments. The main thoroughfare is ulica Dluga (Long Street) and Dlugi Targ (Long Market) also called Royal Way in memory of the Polish Kings who took this route to enter the city. Walk via one of the most beautiful streets in Europe, it begins with the Golden Gate. Nearby stands the late baroque Uphagen House, now the Gdansk Museum of Merchant House Interiors. Further on is the Main Town Hall. We reach the Long Market, surrounded by Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses. On the left is Arthur’s Court.
