Jurmala tour (4 h)

Rundale tour (6 h)
Rundale Palace, the most magnificent masterpiece of Baroque architecture in the Baltic states, is 70 km away from Riga. It was built in the first part of the 18th century by Italian architect Rastrelli, the Italian Baroque genius who has built lot of finest buildings in St. Petersburg including the Winter Palace. The professionally renovated palace interiors are decorated with the furniture, authentic paintings and porcelain of the 18th century. The most impressive are the Golden Hall, White Hall, the dormitory of the Johan Ernst Biron, Duke of Courland. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful park in the French style.
Sigulda tour (6 h)
One of the most picturesque towns in Latvia - Sigulda, often called the Latvian Switzerland, is located about 50 kilometers away from Riga in the Gauja river valley. Sigulda is situated in Gauja National Park and is known as the most popular tourist destination. Sigulda is known as an alpine resort. Experience a genuine whiff of the Middle Ages, a time of romantic legends, castles and heroic figures, visit the ruins of the thirteenth century Crusader castle. A short drive along the steep path up the hill will take you to Castle Turaida the 13th century. Have a chance to see `the garden of the gods' from the 30 m tall tower. Next to this is a sculpture park dedicated to the Leton folklore where you can walk for a while. This tour involves a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
